Message You've been a long time member, but I've never met, or talked to you in person.

I was wondering if English is not your first language, or if you just don't proof read? I have a hard time following alot of what you say. And since this is a subject that interests me, I WANT to understand, but I cannot. This is also not the first time. But it is my first time asking. I notice by your screen name that you may not have been born or raised here. I'd just like to understand is all.

FWIW, and to add to the discussion, 90% of the TT Chevy V8 guys (LS1/LT1/LT4) ditch MAP in favor of a single MAS. A standalone MAP reduces fuel efficiency with no noticable HP gains. A standalone MAS retains significant fuel efficiency at off boost times, while still providing acurate readings for on boost times.

"Long story short my boost guage was off i think a couple psi and then the bulb went out on it that night. So I used a flashlight to read what my boost was. Looked like 19 pounds, but I guess I was wrong. Then to top it off, I was bouncing off the rev limiter and powershifted to third. And then the big boom. To my amazement, the next morning it acutlly started!!!! then I shut it off a couple secs later it was killing me to hear what it sounded like." - Posted by: hot90tt(underconstruction) on January 19, 2004 at 11:15 AM
